Many easy walks start from the cottage door. Little Langdale 1 mile: enjoy a walk over the fell and return by woodland steeped in the history of the Lakeland quarrying industry. For the fell walking enthusiast, the Coniston and Langdale fells are easily accessible without taking the car.
